Shi-chan: Finally got around to doing this one! Hope everybody enjoyed Tomodachi and No One. For a fic that took ten minutes to write it sure went over well. ~^_^~
Hee hee, I 'romanized' MarineAngemon's Ocean Smile and sent the lyrics to animelyrics.com. *devilish grin* (If you've never heard Ocean Smile, you can get it here: http://www.shimegami.com/ichijouji/oceansmile.mp3)

Ah--Andy mentioned in a review of No One that Kenta understanding MarineAngemonSpeak is becoming fancanon. Actually, it is canon--in Shiroi Kamome, their Best Tamer duet, Kenta is actually translating MarineAngemon's verse into Japanese in the background of the song. ~^_^~ Kenta seems to be the only one who can, though. ^^;;

Sibling Swap
~By Shimegami-chan

AUTHOR'S NOTE: This story is an idea that Kirri came up with, and asked me to write. I had to put it off until I finished Tomodachi, but I'm all ready to go now. Enjoy! ^_^

This is my first actual story with Taito as the main coupling; they're usually a background coupling to my Kensuke fics. Hope I can pull this off. ^^;;

Crash!

"HIKARIIII!"

Agumon winced as Taichi's high-pitched voice rang in his ears. The dinosaur Digimon had a whopping headache--and not just as a result of Taichi's screams. The boy and his sister had been arguing all morning--from the point that their parents had gotten on the plane to America right up to the point when Hikari had mistakenly pitched a baseball through the apartment's window.

"You know...I get the feeling that Taichi made a mistake in letting her have Chocolate Frosted Suger Bombs(*tm) for breakfast this morning," Tailmon commented dryly, swishing her tail back and forth.

"You think?" Although he wasn't certain what was and wasn't fit for human consumption, he had enjoyed the Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs.

A moment later Taichi stormed into the room and flopped onto the bottom bunk bed. "Agumon, what did I do to deserve this?"

Unable to come up with a suitable answer, Agumon kept his mouth shut. "I should talk to Hikari," Tailmon volunteered. "She has been acting strangely lately."

"Thanks, Tailmon." Taichi replied gratefully, watching the cat Digimon walk out the door.

The house was blissfully quiet for the next few minutes. "Thank God, she must have done something right," Taichi said in relief. "At least she stopped before Yamato came over. What's wrong with her lately?"

"Yamato's coming over? And Gabumon too?" Agumon looked unnaturally pleased, but Taichi was too busy looking for super-glue to peice together the vase that his sister had broken.

"Yeah," Taichi said distractedly. "'Kaasan said I should have a friend over until my grandparents get here. She doesn't mind me being here alone, but she worries about Imoutochan."

"Oh." Agumon observed Taichi gently peicing together the fragile vase, fitting the larger peices together.

"I thought it was going to be fun with my mom and dad on vacation, but this is crazy." Taichi sighed. "Hikari's been on the rampage since they left."

"Maybe she just misses them."

"That's crazy. They've been gone three hours and she's already broken a window, a vase and my stereo; spilled orange juice all over the sofa, destroyed the kitchen, and gotten Sora angry at me." Hikari had picked up the phone while Taichi and Sora were talking and blurted 'Sora-san, Oniichan has a BIIIG crush on you!' Sora, who had recently confessed her crush on Yamato to Taichi, had NOT been pleased. Sora had hung up and now wouldn't take Taichi's calls. Even worse, the accusation was totally untrue--in face, was the opposite. Taichi had feelings for Yamato that he wouldn't dare admit to the other boy.

The brunette tapped his fingers on his desk and was about to comment on the disturbing silence in the apartment when a mildly-angry looking Tailmon re-entered the room. Agumon had to hold in a snort of laughter. "Tailmon, what happened?"

The cat Digimon glared in the dinosaur's general direction, stripping out of the frilly pink dress she was wearing. She had only allowed Hikari to put her in the doll's clothes to keep the hyperactive young girl occupied, but Hikari had quickly lost interest and started watching Kaitou Saint Tail on the family television set. "Hikari wanted to play dress-up." Tailmon started removing clip-on earrings from her pink ears. "I'm finding this all rather disturbing, Taichi."

"Me too." The brunette was more confused than ever. "Usually Hikari's really mature for her age." In the porch, the doorbell rang, and Taichi rose to his feet. "That must be Yamato. Now, if I can just keep Hikari occupied while he's here, everything will be fine."

By the time Taichi arrived at the door, his little sister was no longer in the living room, which he found a bit unsettling. He opened the front door. "Hey, Yama."

"Hey." The blonde stepped in with an extra visitor trailing behind him. "Sorry, I had to bring Takeru along too. My mother is away working on a story this weekend, and 'Tousan is at the station."

"It's no problem." Taichi was thinking more like, problem solved. "He can keep Hikari busy; she's been bouncing off the walls today."

"Oh? Where is Hikari-chan?" Yamato removed his shoes and put on the guest slippers. "Takeru, stay out of trouble now, okay?"

A series of shrieks began emitting from the kitchen, and Taichi whirled. "Hikari!"

The three boys ran towards the sound and found the Child of Light perched on the table with a broom in her hands, performing an elaborate dance. She launched herself off the table. "Fly!"

Unfortunately, Taichi was standing right in the cosplaying Cardcaptor's way. She slammed into him and the two of them crashed to the floor, leaving a stunned Yamato and Takeru staring at the pile of Yagami. Hikari sheepishly lifted her head. "Uh...return to thy true form, Clow Card?"

Growling, Taichi untangled himself from his sister while the Ishida/Takaishi siblings laughed. "It's not funny. She's been like this all morning." He spotted an empty ice-cream tub lying on the floor. "Hikari!"

Yamato couldn't stop laughing. "This is nothing compared to Takeru!" The younger boy tried to look annoyed, but he was too busy being amused by Hikari's fluffy pink Card Captor Sakura dress.

"Oh yeah?"

"Yeah!" Yamato shot a glance at his brother. "Since he came over he's been a royal terror. He put pepper in the salt shaker and ruined lunch, put Kool-Aid crystals in the showerhead and dyed my hair blue, short-sheeted my bed, raided my Pocky supply, and drove me crazy all morning singing the Medarot theme."

"That's nothing!" Taichi scoffed. "Practical jokes don't bother me. Hikari trying to give the cat a bath, breaking Mom's vase, and eating ALL the ice cream is a lot worse!" He diplomatically avoided telling his best friend about the incident with Sora. Let Ishida figure that one out for himself.

"Are you kidding? Yamato looked shocked. "Man, I'd trade my brother for your sweet little sister any day."

"Takeru's an angel!"

"Well, you can have him!"

The Takaishi in question looked mildly insulted, as did Hikari. "You can't just trade us around, Oniichan."

A slow smile spread across Taichi's face. "Now there's an idea."

"What?" Yamato didn't like the impish grin Taichi had adopted.

"Why don't we trade them? Just for the weekend, until my parents get home?"

"Trade them?" Yamato was interested, but hesitant. "I don't know...Takeru barely ever comes over as it is, and what would my dad say?"

"I want to!" Hikari said loudly. All three boys stared at her. "Taichi-niichan's been mean today! He hogs the TV and yells at me for no reason!"

Seeing his friend's enthusiasm, Takeru joined the fight. "Oniichan lets me watch TV, but he won't let me sing the theme songs! When he sings them all the time! And he's mad 'coz I put Kool-Aid in the shower! I wanna stay here!"

"I bet Oniichan would let you sing!"

"Yeah!"

"Yeah!"

Taichi grinned. "What do you think, Yama?"

A little miffed at Takeru's comment about his singing, Yamato nodded slowly. "I don't see why not. It'd make both our lives easier, at least for a while."

"Great." Taichi laughed. "So Hikari will go home with you and Takeru will stay wih me. We'll switch back...say, Sunday, at noon?"

"Done."

The two older boys shook hands while Hikari and Takeru grinned devilishly at each other. This was going to be an interesting weekend.
